When I was little,
My view was small.
Then when we moved,
It became so tall.
So many new things,
All so scary.
Get along did I,
Just barely.
New school, new classroom,
New challenges, just thirteen.
New bed, new house,
Blue days in between.
Terrified and shaking, I did go
Until a new friend said, Hello!
Under her wing I was safe,
Finally, a smile on my face.
